About Us
My name is Mahesh Kumar, a tech blogger and journalist based in Mumbai. I started News Broswe in 2025 after getting frustrated with the kind of tech content available to Indian internet users — either too technical to be useful, too generic to be relevant, or quietly written to sell you something rather than inform you.
I’ve spent years covering technology, cybersecurity, and personal finance from an Indian perspective. I know what it’s like to navigate UPI scams, compare smartphones on a real budget, and try to make sense of mutual funds without a finance degree. That experience is the foundation of everything published on this site.
What News Broswe Covers
Cyber Awareness — Practical advice on staying safe online. Phishing scams, password security, 2FA, UPI fraud, WhatsApp scams — written for everyday Indian users, not IT professionals.
Gadget Reviews — Honest assessments of smartphones, laptops, earbuds, and accessories at the price points that actually matter in India. I focus on real-world use, not spec sheets.
Security Tools — Tested recommendations for antivirus software, VPNs, password managers, and browser extensions. I only recommend tools I’ve actually used.
Technology — What India’s tech landscape looks like right now — AI, jobs, digital infrastructure — and what it means for professionals, students, and small business owners.
Finance — Personal finance basics for Indian salaried professionals. SIPs, Section 80C, emergency funds, and building wealth on a normal salary.
Why Trust This Site
Every article on News Broswe is written with one standard: would I share this with a family member making a real decision? If the answer is no, it doesn’t get published.
For Finance and Cybersecurity content — topics where bad advice has real consequences — I include disclaimers where appropriate and link to authoritative sources like SEBI, CERT-In, and RBI guidelines. I do not give personalised financial or legal advice.
When I recommend a product or tool, I note its limitations alongside its strengths. If something isn’t worth buying, I say so.
